Order tracking
Understand FX order IDs, statuses, timelines, and how to look up any order.
What is an FX order ID?
Every order on Faint Exchange gets a public ID formatted as FX- followed by six alphanumeric characters — for example FX-K7M2NP. This ID is:
- Your receipt and proof of order
- Required for all support requests
- Safe to share with support (it is not a secret key)
- Case-insensitive when searching
How to look up an order
- Visit faintdev.co.uk/verify.
- Enter your FX order ID.
- View current status, amounts, payment/deposit instructions, and timeline.
If you are signed in and created the order on the same account, you may also have a direct link from the confirmation screen (/order/FX-XXXXXX).
Order statuses explained
| Status | Meaning | What you should do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Order created, waiting for payment or deposit | Pay via Stripe or send crypto deposit |
| Processing | Payment/deposit received, fulfilment in progress | Wait — refresh verify page periodically |
| Completed | Crypto or fiat delivered successfully | Verify receipt in wallet/bank; save tx records |
| Failed | Order could not complete | Read error on order page; contact support with FX ID |
| Cancelled | Order voided before fulfilment | No charge/deposit applied — create new order if needed |
Typical timelines by route
| Route | After you pay/deposit | Completion |
|---|---|---|
| Buy (card) | Stripe confirms (minutes) | Crypto delivered — usually under an hour, network dependent |
| Sell | 1+ blockchain confirmations | Manual fiat payout — hours to 3 business days |
| Swap | 1+ blockchain confirmations | Usually minutes to few hours |
These are estimates, not guarantees. Network congestion, bank holidays, and manual review can add delay.
Your order page
Each order has a dedicated page showing:
- Source and destination amounts (fiat vs crypto labelled correctly)
- Fee percentage applied
- Deposit address (sell/swap) or Stripe payment button (buy)
- Retry payment option if Stripe session expired
- Link to Discord support with order pre-filled
Lost your order ID?
- Check your browser history for
/order/FX-URLs. - If signed in, contact support with the email on your account.
- Discord: describe approximate time, amount, and asset — staff can search logs.
- Stripe email receipts may reference the order if you completed payment.
Always save your FX ID
Screenshot or copy the ID immediately after creating an order. Verification and support depend on it.
